In our heated lap pool, we have water-based exercise classes taught by our certified instructors. A water volleyball group meets for some fun in one of our pools. The fitness room is fully furnished, and you can exercise on state-of-the-art equipment. The Palms is home to world-class shuffleboard courts and an active group that plays weekly and loves to have newcomers join them!
You can warm up your golf game by visiting our recently resurfaced putting and chipping course. You can also and even participate in one of the seasonal putting contests! The newly refurbished pickleball and tennis courts are busy with classes and tournament play or people just having fun.
Check out all of the Amenities and the Activities at the Palms, there is something for everyone.
Games are a big part of The Palms where you can find a Texas Hold-Em group, Bunco, Mexican Train Dominoes, Mah Jongg, Cribbage, Swoop, Sequence, and others. We have highly attended Bingo Nights with creative themes providing tons of fun! If golf courses are your thing, you can join the group that golfs weekly at various courses throughout Yuma. Many impromptu groups head out to go jeeping, atv-ing, star gazing, hosting neighborhood street parties, and so much more.
If you are hungry, consider a snack or meal from our Cafe 55 or a cool drink from our Cabana Bar.
We have a busy activities crew that plans numerous events throughout the season. Events include dinners and balls, coffeehouse nights (karaoke, line dancing, and other surprises), local bands, burger fests by the pool, an Italian Wedding Celebration, parades and so much more.
The sunsets at The Palms are spectacular and happen when our weekly Concert Series happen in our Grand Ballroom each season. You can walk or hop on your golf cart and head over to the fun!
